Listen to Spotify? Want to? Feel bad about ripping off musicians? From now on, you can speak evil, see evil and also hear evil, guilt free… well, sort of!
We plan to hijack Spotify! …we want to stick our pirate flag on top of it and sail the seas!
Here’s how: Click the link below (join Spotify, if you haven’t already) and then, the important bit: click “FOLLOW” on the Lime and Steel page. If we crack 1000 Spotify followers, then we get our hands on the booty of the good ship Spotify (playlists, etc).
You can get your pirate click on right here…https://open.spotify.com/follow/1/?uri=spotify:artist:7oUlNYIZnJKOz8G1fmQJOS&size=detail&theme=light” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>https://open.spotify.com/follow/1/?uri=spotify:artist:7oUlNYIZnJKOz8G1fmQJOS&size=detail&theme=light
Clicked “FOLLOW” already? OK, meanwhile…

Big-ups to Rhythms Magazine for an awesome review of Aunt Thally, which they describe as “gloriously disconcerting” (love that!) Here’s a copy of the review, but you can pick up Rhythms at your local or online. Fleet Foxes on the cover.
We head to Qld next month, with highlights being Black Mountain Unplugged Festival, a Stop Adani gig in Cairns and a reef trip …if there’s any unbleached coral left up there.

Here’s a pic of Maizy-Jane. She’s awesome too!
After seven years of bringing the rock, the handsome Ian Morrison is hanging up the Lime and Steel kick drum and taking a parting glass with the band. From tasty cymbal splashes to sweaty pub rock to bringing consistent punk subversiveness into the folk world, Ian has been a fundamental part of the Lime and Steel sound: He’ll be missed!
A stalwart of the Katoomba music scene, you’ll still catch Mr Morrison rockin’ in bands all over K-town. Lime and Steel won’t even try to replace him… but watch this space for upcoming sweet gigs as a string-band trio.
Two weeks to go! We will have our new EP out for the Blue Mts Music Fest! Playing next to a huge line up of cool acts from Urthboy to Eddie Reader. Check out some awesome glossy press in Blue Mts Life magazine, with photos of us alongside up-and-comers The Waifs and some dude called Paul Kelly…
You can buy Blue Mountains Life magazine at local newsagents. They interview Paddy on his beardy church-folk upbringing, and how Lime and Steel first came together.
Its time: Our epic residency at the the legendary Katoomba institution that is the Old City Bank is coming to a close!

Sat March 11, 9pm, with Andie Isalie busting out tasty tunes from 11pm
This awesome bar has backed us from the start and given us a regular gig for longer than we can remember…We’ve decided to finally give it over to some new peeps.
Mountains folks, raise your glass to one of your underrated gems: No pokies, no screens, no aggro d!*heads, just good beer and consistently awesome free live music. Thanks for your part in keeping mountains culture so awesome!
